Cyanosis of the hand, some broken fingers
Causes of blueness and pain in the hand after the fracture of the finger heals, and how to treat it.

I broke my middle finger 4 weeks ago. I had my splint removed a week ago and I have pain in my palm, and it is blue. I can't move my fingers fully which can cause pain, and I can't flex my fingers in the middle. What is the necessary treatment?

Doctor's diagnosis:

The joint may appear stiff, which is to be expected after the bones and joint have been held in a splint for several weeks. I do not recommend returning to normal weight bearing and hand use without consulting your primary care physician.

Generally speaking, as long as the bone is healed, there is no objection to the work of physiotherapy, as the symptoms of physiotherapy improve.

And give the bones what they need to strengthen them, because one of the reasons pains exists is weak bones due to lack of vitamin D and magnesium, while lack of calcium can lead to weak bones with painful fractures.

Physiotherapy can be simple massage, heat, sponge balls or pressure with rubber, for example, a special clay pastes with a stickiness, the firmness of the rubber depends on the progress of the patient's ability to compress.

For example, patients start with yellow or green dough, then the dough changes to different colors, and finally the patient can naturally load the bones and joints.
